This course is canceled due to the coronavirus
This course is scheduled to begin on Friday, September 11th, 2020 and conclude on Friday, October 30th, 2020.
Our faculty is comprised of crime scene investigators from the New Jersey State Police, the law enforcement community and a number of guest faculty whose specialty sub-disciplines are encompassed within the crime scene investigation umbrella.
Our courses follow an action-based format, which is continuously updated to keep pace with the ever-changing discipline of Crime Scene Investigation.
The Majority of instruction blocks have a lecture and a practical component exposing the student to a hands-on training environment.
The goal of the New Jersey Crime Scene Investigators Association is to standardize training for crime scene detectives across the state and to create a higher level of training within the various disciplines utilized by crime scene detectives. Education and training are at the center of the mission for the New Jersey Crime Scene Investigators Association. Education is important at any level, and the New Jersey Crime Scene Investigators Association will utilize some of the revenue to provide financial assistance to undergraduate students pursuing a career in forensic science or criminal justice.
If you have questions about the opportunities available to you in our programs, feel free to send us a message. We will get back to you as soon as possible.
